Inactive Power and Methods of Its Compensation

Abstract. The work is devoted to the definition of the concept of inactive power and methods of its compensation. The concept of inactive power has been fully analyzed, what it characterizes, what it consists of, how it is determined, how it is calculated, what effect it has on the operation of the receivers and the electrical network as a whole, and also considers the methods of its compensation and possible technical solutions of manufacturers of devices for compensating inactive power.
