Efficiency Calculation of Longitudinal Mode Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducer with Additional Magnetization

Abstract. The paper deals with the possibility of increasing the magnetization field of the EMA transducer of longitudinal waves due to additional exposure to the current mag-netic field of the high-frequency inductor. A new methodology of calculating is proposed to assess the possibilities of increasing the efficiency of EMA-transducers of longitudinal waves for steels with known magnetization curves.
